How to spot the Clownfish when scuba diving
Amphiprion bicinctus
Found in the warmer waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, including the Red Sea and the Great Barrier Reef. They are not found in the Atlantic Ocean.

Can be found year-round within their habitat. Time of day is not usually critical.
Inhabit tropical waters, typically between 24-28°C (75-82°F).
Always found in association with host sea anemones on coral or rocky reefs, usually in relatively shallow water (often less than 15 meters). Look closely within the tentacles of large anemones. Different clownfish species inhabit different geographic areas and may associate with specific anemone types.
